Important Considerations
What you need to know before starting your project
Bathroom Unavailable During Remodel
Your bathroom will be out of service for most of the project — typically 2–3 weeks for a full remodel. If this is your only bathroom, we'll discuss scheduling options and priority sequencing to minimize the impact on your daily routine.
Hidden Conditions Found During Demo
Behind the walls of older bathrooms, we often find issues — rotted subfloor, failed waterproofing, outdated plumbing, or mold. When we find something, we document it, show you, and discuss how to address it. Taking care of it now prevents much larger problems later.
All Selections Must Be Final Before Demo
Tile, vanity, fixtures, and all materials must be selected and ordered before demolition starts. Changes after work begins can cause delays, added costs, and in some cases require re-doing completed work. We help you finalize everything upfront.
Cure Times Cannot Be Rushed
Tile adhesive must fully cure before grouting, and grout must cure before sealing and use. These aren't arbitrary wait times — they're required for the materials to perform correctly long-term. We build them into the schedule from day one.
